Our next Membership Class will be held Sunday, August 17th. This is a class that is designed to teach all interested candidates about membership in the Bible and how it is practiced at First Baptist. Location is still TBD but it will be held on Sunday morning during the Sunday School Hour with a light breakfast and coffee. Click here to sign up! |

Family/Vision Meeting |

Our next Family Meeting will be unlike those we've done in the past as the bulk of our time together will be vision casting! Please plan on joining us Sunday, August 31st. More details to follow. |

FBC Youth Resumes Sunday, September 7th. All youth grades 6th-12th are invited! Mark your calendars and plan on joining us Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m. More details to follow. |

Baptisms |

We will be having a Baptism Service in the near future! If you or your child has come forward with a profession of faith and are ready to talk next steps please contact Pastor Ricky. We will simultaneously be scheduling a class for eligible Baptism Candidates. |

If you are available to help a group is meeting at the church tomorrow (Wednesday, July 30th) to break down the VBS decorations. This year we are donating much of our set to a sister church in our association to use for their VBS next year! |

Outdoor Movie Night & Fall Carnival |

As many of you are aware we had to cancel the VBS Carnival last Friday. However, we are going to bring it back and attach it to our Outdoor Movie Night event! Mark your calendars for October 25th! This is a guaranteed good time!! |

Brothers & Sisters,
WHAT. A. WEEK!! What a tangible way to put skin on being a church that is for the Kingdom and for the Community. As Pastor Shawn shared a couple of weeks ago in his sermon, this ministry has tangible fruit! He's living proof! Thank you to the over 50+ volunteers who helped to pull this off. Everything went off without a hitch and it all was made possible by your willingness to expend yourself for the advancement of the Kingdom and your flexibility. SO many of you jumped into place and were willing to change things up at a moment's notice. I am so grateful for each and every single one of you!!
Get some rest this week! I look forward to what the Lord has for us next! |
